1. Who we are

Globusitrade (Globusitrade International Brokerage Inc.) is an international management and marketing consultancy based in Canada, specializing in the Food & Beverage sector. We are the data controller for the data we collect through this site.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data when you fill out the contact form. The fields are:

• Role (producer/exporter or buyer/distributor)
• Full name
• Company
• Email address
• Country
• Product category (optional)
• Message
• The language you submitted the form in

We also automatically log your IP address when you submit the form, solely to detect and block automated submissions (rate limiting and anti-spam checks) — we don't associate it with your profile or use it for any other purpose.

We never ask for or store passwords, card details, or any other financial data anywhere on this site.

3. What we use your data for

We use the data you submit through the form to:

• Respond to your inquiry and assess a possible business connection (as a producer/exporter or buyer/distributor)
• Send you an automatic confirmation email that we received your message
• Follow up commercially where relevant
• If we integrate an in-house CRM in the future, forward your inquiry to that system for the same commercial follow-up purpose

4. Who we share your data with

We don't sell or rent your data to third parties. We only share it with the providers we use to run the site and respond to your inquiry:

• Resend — the email delivery service we use to send our team's notification and your automatic confirmation
• Google Sheets — the public data source for our product catalog; it never receives any of your form data
• Google Analytics and/or Plausible — only if enabled (see Cookies section); Plausible doesn't use cookies or identify individual visitors
• A future in-house Globusitrade CRM — only if configured, and solely to follow up on your inquiry

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site doesn't use any first-party cookies. No analytics service is enabled by default.

If we enable Google Analytics (GA4), that service sets its own cookies in your browser to measure site usage. If we enable Plausible instead, no cookies are used — it's a tracking-free analytics alternative.

The two are never enabled at the same time, and neither is used for advertising purposes.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your inquiry's data for as long as the evaluation and commercial follow-up process lasts. If you'd like us to delete your data sooner, email info@globusitrade.com and we will.

7. Security

The site is always served over HTTPS. The contact form has rate limiting, a bot-trap field, and origin validation, in addition to standard server-side security measures (security headers, input sanitization).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR if you're in the European Union, or PIPEDA if you're in Canada), you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request that we delete your data
• Object to your data being used for commercial follow-up
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email info@globusitrade.com — we respond within 30 days.

9. International transfers

Because we operate across Europe, North America, Central America and the Caribbean, and South America, and use international infrastructure providers (Resend, Google), your data may be processed in countries other than your own, always under each provider's required contractual safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy whenever how we handle your data changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
